MINGORA: Around nine more security personnel were slaughtered and several more were killed in different areas of Swat by unknown people while the seven other troops were kidnaped here on Saturday. Clashes between local Taliban and law enforcement forces were continued in Mingora and surrounding area. Local Taliban taken their position against troops but there not reported any information regarding any affective policy of government for the remaining of Law and order in suffered areas. According reliable sources critical situation in Swat was extended on Saturday. In different areas of Swat, Nine more security personnel were slaughtered by unknown militants in Matta, Bandai and few other areas. Seven people including four policemen were shot dead in the area. Firing is exchanged from both sides and the intensity of fighting increased. A police station and check post were also attacked in village Chaarbagh last night. In result of an other activity District Nazim Jamal Nasir Khan house was put on fire by hundred of militants in a nearest village of Matta last night while his security guards were also killed by attackers. District Nazim Nasir Jamal was not present on the occasion because he was shifted to Islamabad along with family few months back. A boom was balst last night near the House of Amir Muqam fedral Mininster in Singota Swat.
Most minor clashes were reported in Kabal, Bandai, Baidara and Pir Kalai. According to a local Taliban commander, five police personnel from Shah Dehrai check post were kidnaped while there was complete shutter down in tehsil Matta Bazar. In Matta several policemen including one ISI man named Irshad along with Karim, Sarawr, Khurshed and Said Rahim were kidnaped and than murdered while two suspected government-supporting persons were also killed. On Saturday, night several explosions were heard by locals in Kanju, Kabal and Bandai but no casualty was reported. Meanwhile, a close fellow of Maulana Fazalullah blamed government for attacks over peaceful activists of his organisation and said that secret agencies are responsible for ongoing critical situation. On other hand, spokesman of Fazalullah, Sirajuddin, while talking to news men that secret agencies wanted to sabotage the peaceful environment of Swat and expressed that local public supporting him for the implementation of Islam. Siraj added that his fellows would strongly resists security forces further actions. Meanwhile, late in the evening government announced curfew in district Swat for indefinite period. (By Faiz)
